SOUND - INTENSE The music playing in the background intensifies the scene/mood and the sound of the boys breathing can also be heard as he walks through the alley by himself. CHARACTER – THE BOY Wearing an old looking tracksuit with a suspicious backpack on his back. CUT TO: INT. School – exam hall – day. CU shot of clock The sound of a clock is ticking in the background. My Initial Research
Radicalisation short film – initial research Through research I have so far explored it appears that radicalisation is not a common topic compared to short films of bullying and depression. I have so far found 11 short films that fully concentrate on radicalisation and exist within the media of YouTube. Although, the 5 I have closely researched surprisingly do not show how to ultimately avoid these influencers/extremists and the lasting impacts radicalisation has on close friends and family. I personally believe I have identified a market gab with these two factors and can use my research to reveal some factors and behaviours that are commonly found in those that have been exposed to extremist ideas, being both informative and relatable to those who may have experienced this behaviour.
